Description

The YEE Water Fairy is a compact air-driven aquarium filter designed for gentle filtration in shrimp tanks, fry setups, breeding tanks, quarantine tanks, and small aquariums.

Its 3-in-1 design combines a high-density sponge with two types of biological media. The sponge helps capture debris and reduces strong intake flow, while the internal media provides additional surface area for beneficial bacteria that support biological filtration.

3-in-1 Filtration

  • 35 PPI high-density sponge for mechanical filtration
  • Loose moving-bed-style media for biological filtration
  • Grooved biological media for additional bacterial surface area

Features

  • Gentle, air-driven water circulation
  • Suitable for shrimp, fry, medaka juveniles, and small fish
  • High-density sponge helps prevent small animals from being drawn into the filter
  • Supports beneficial bacteria involved in processing ammonia and nitrite
  • Compact single-chamber design
  • Suitable for aquariums, tubs, and breeding systems
  • Reusable and easy to maintain
  • Connects to standard aquarium airline tubing
  • Can be expanded with an additional chamber

Expansion Option

This listing includes the single-chamber filter only.

A compatible expansion chamber may be purchased separately to create a double-chamber setup with additional filtration capacity.

Package Includes

  • 1 YEE Water Fairy single-chamber bio filter
  • Sponge and included biological media

Equipment Required

An external aquarium air pump and airline tubing are required for operation and are not included unless specifically stated.

Care Instructions

Rinse the filter and media with clean, dechlorinated water before first use. During maintenance, gently rinse the sponge and reusable media in removed aquarium water to help preserve beneficial bacteria.

Avoid replacing all biological media at the same time.
