Neptune Gold is a golden expression from the famous Neptune medaka line, originally created by Medakaya Savannah in Japan. The Neptune line is known for heavy reflective lamé, metallic shine, and beautiful color shift under light. The commonly listed lineage is (Miyazakura × Himitsu Heiki) × Saboten, combining strong lamé, shine, and refined Japanese medaka traits.

The Gold Type expresses a warmer gold and silver sparkle compared to the standard blue-toned Neptune. These fish show a metallic gold body tone, bright silver-gold iridescence, translucent fins, and a clean normal-body medaka shape.
