This strain was developed from a background of Tsuki no Hibiki / 月の響, Kujaku Ao EVO / 孔雀青EVO, and Recris / レクリス. Mai Medaka described the line as having been selected through many generations, past F11, before release, with a focus on improving lame density, color, and overall expression.
The original Recris / レクリス line is known for a bright yellow aurora-style body color, strong lame, and longfin expression. Japanese medaka references list Recris as a 2021 Mai Medaka creation, with especially strong top-view lame and attractive yellow color from the side view.
Reckless Unlimited builds on that look with denser, finer lame and more vivid color expression. Japanese listings describe it as a multi-color strong-lame medaka, making it a flashy collector strain for keepers who enjoy high-shine medaka.
